ARTIST BIO

L. E. Turnbull

Art and creativity have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I graduated in 1975 with a B.A. in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and ceramics.  My plein air painting interest took off while living on beautiful Maui, Hawaii. My goal is to express the feeling of warmth and vibrance in the tropical air through my colorful plein air paintings of the Maui landscapes and seascapes. I recently have relocated to colorful Colorado, and it is exciting to paint the diversity of the landscapes as well as the beauty of the vast western sky.

Please ask if you see something you like, all work can be done on commission.
